In the heart of Kilmarnock is Town Centre Park, a 9 acre park for the whole family.

Home to the Half Shell Stage, this amphitheatre  hosts “Music on the Half Shell Stage” from May to October. This concert series features local and regional acts in genres from Motown to Nashville, from bluegrass to big band sound. Check out the schedule and get ticket information in the event calendar.

For the kiddos, there’s River Play and Waterworks. River Play is a nature themed playground with swings, boulders and logs to climb on, slides and climbing apparatus. Waterworks is the region’s only splash pad where geysers bring out the squeals and cooling play on a hot summer day. Waterworks is open seasonally. Scotty’s Yard is here too. Kilmarnock’s dog park is just waiting for you and your best friend. The dog park has 2 sides, based on dog sizes. We don’t mix the chihuahuas and the great danes!

The Holidays bring “Walk in the Park”- a free, nightly family event  to enjoy the lights and decorations of the Park (except during Santa’s Village), “Santa’s Village”-a ticketed event for kiddos and the lighting of the Town’s Christmas tree, complete with Santa.
