Rappahannock River Waterfowl Show

Now in its 41st year! One of the Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Events in the South for March, this show brings exhibitors featuring original paintings, carvings, sculptures, decoys and more. The Rappahannock River Waterfowl Show is an unique art festival showcasing wildfowl art. Original paintings, prints, carvings of life-size and miniature birds of all kinds, decoys for display or hunting, antique decoys, exquisite bronze sculptures, photography, taxidermy, and handcrafted jewelry are all available to purchase or enjoy viewing. Irvington Crab Festival

Current circumstances aren’t stopping the Ninth Annual Irvington Crab Festival. The Steamboat Era Museum’s biggest and most popular fundraiser is adapting to restrictions with “Grab-a Crab!”
Get your tickets in advance for just $35 and drive through Chesapeake Bank’s Irvington branch, August 8, from 4 til 7.
You’ll “Grab-a-Crab” when you pop your trunk and volunteers deliver, for each ticket purchased, a bag of a dozen fresh steamed crabs plus a “grab bag” with a 2020 collector beer cup, crab mallet, roll of paper towels, and other goodies. Then enjoy a crab feast with family and friends in your safe environment!

Raise the Roof Craft Beer Fest

Urbanna Oyster Festival

Come by BOAT or come by LAND because we have got everything oyster and more! The charming Town of Urbanna closes it's streets for this big celebration of oysters and the heritage that surrounds it for two full days with over 60,000 visitors. Over 50 food vendors with of course, OYSTERS!! Raw, Steamed, Roasted, Rockefeller, Fried, Stewed, Frittered, but also lots of festival food fare like chocolate dipped cheesecake on a stick, fried Oreos, crab bisque, crab cakes, funnel cakes, grilled and smoked meats, BBQ and clams.
