The Northern Neck Hidden History Trail tells the story through the lenses of people of color to reveal a more comprehensive and inclusive historic picture to promote a greater “Sense of Place”.
Mission
The Northern Neck Hidden History Trail will expand existing historical narratives with comprehensive and inclusive presentations that will reveal the impact and the significant contributions of people of color and collaborative efforts. These stories will be all encompassing as reported from African-Americans, Native Americans, and European Americans.
We are excited to invite you to the Northern Neck Hidden History Trail Launch Celebration, a special gathering that will be held at two locations with different times to accommodate your geographically diverse locations. Please join us for an unforgettable experience at both venues!
