Plein Air Painting Festival

Our annual outdoor Plein Air Painting festival is back to Middlesex County this year, April 29 – May 4. This outdoor painting festival brings award winning painters from across the Mid-Atlantic here for the week to stay, paint, exhibit, dine and explore. The event is one of the largest gatherings of plein air painters in the state each year. The event culminates with a preview reception and exhibit of the works created Friday and Saturday at the DCA Community Center.
Patrons come from across the state to watch the painters, attend demos, buy art, with many staying the week or long weekend.
