Dug in Farms Workshop: Monarch Habitat Landscaping

May 13, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Spring Gardening Season is here and we are so happy to share our new workshop series with all you fellow plant and pollinator lovers! The workshops will be held outside by the Bee House at Dug In Farms and led by community & gardening experts. Suggested plants will be available for purchase in the nursery. Light refreshments will be provided and all workshops will be held rain or shine, so please dress accordingly!  As always, feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have.

Due to increasing pesticide use and the slow decline of Milkweed, the Monarch butterfly is now listed as an endangered species. You can make a difference by joining us in our efforts to save this precious pollinator! Karen will walk you through the lifecycle of the Monarch, its food requirements, and how you can help sustain the population with a few key plants.  Led by Karen Williams

Must register in advance!

Future workshops:

How to Plant a Pollinator Garden: May 20, 2023
