Car Trunk Sale At The Museum!

FREE, family-friendly event on the LVHS Museum grounds! Sometimes we call the trunk, the “boot”,  from our long ago English heritage. It’s a great way to pick up a treasure at this community yard sale.

Group Car Trunk Yard Sale on the Museum Grounds. Saturday May 13, 8:30-11:00 AM.

Multiple sellers* and Great Bargains! Variety of household goods, holiday and seasonal items, home décor, glass, china, kitchenware, books, artwork, vintage, NASCAR souvenirs, train collectibles, vintage, and more. Outdoors on LVHS grounds and inside the former Chilton House next to the Old Jail. *Deadline to reserve a $15 space (while they last) is Noon Friday, May 12, 2023; online form https://forms.gle/RG9Q5Xrc9yeoFZnB8 or call 804-462-7280

Same day as Garfield’s Rescue BIG Yard Sale at neighboring Trinity Church for more activity in the courthouse village!

Nan Harvey of Point Pleasant Farm plans to bring three of her Leicester Longwool sheep (an 18th-century heritage breed that George Washington raised) plus samples of wool, knitted goods, and yarn for sale. 8:00-11:30 AM on the Museum grounds. You can also stay and tour the the Museum buildings and exhibits 9:00-2:00.
