Shoptober is a month-long shopping event held in October across Virginia’s River Realm. It brings together local retailers to offer exclusive promotions and incentives, encouraging both local residents and visitors to shop small and support our vibrant community.
By participating, your business will receive increased visibility through event marketing, both online and offline. You’ll attract new customers, boost foot traffic, and potentially increase sales by offering exclusive incentives. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to connect with other local businesses and strengthen community ties.
Participating businesses must commit to offering at least one exclusive promotion or incentive for Shoptober shoppers. You’ll also be required to provide information about your offer by the deadline (September 23) to be included in the event marketing materials. Promotions should run from October 1 to 31.
