Join our visiting artist, sculptor Christopher Wagner for a day of whittling wood! You will be introduced to hand carving basics as well as more advanced techniques for those who have some experience. This workshop is for beginners as well as seasoned artists. Carving knives and all materials are provided. During this workshop you will be carving a small handheld figure or animal. Once finished they can be appreciated as a small sculpture, or they can be drilled and fitted to a walking stick.
