After officially retiring the beloved Taste by the Bay earlier this year, the Lancaster by the Bay Chamber is proud to announce a brand-new waterfront event coming this fall: Taste on the Point, taking place Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Windmill Point Marina and Westland Beach in White Stone.
The decision to retire Taste by the Bay was not made lightly. According to Chamber Executive Director Leslie Jingluski, the event had simply outgrown its original home at The Tides Inn. With extensive renovations planned at the Inn, the Chamber saw an opportunity to celebrate the legacy of Taste by the Bay while building something fresh and exciting.
Taste on the Point will feature local wineries, craft beer, food vendors, artisan goods, and live music—all on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay. The event will be held under large tents provided by Commonwealth Events, ensuring a rain-or-shine experience.
Headlining the event is Tidewater Drive, a high-energy 9-piece party band playing music from across the decades. Cameron Ashton will also perform a special VIP-only set earlier in the day.
New This Year: VIP Packages
The event introduces two ticket tiers:
- General Admission ($50): Includes a tasting glass and event access starting at noon.
- VIP Packages ($500): Includes 4 VIP tickets, early access beginning at 10:30 AM, on-site parking, a private check-in experience, and concierge coordination provided by Virginia’s River Realm. Only 50 VIP packages will be sold.

- The official event website, TasteOnThePoint.com, goes live on August 13.
- Tickets will go on sale August 27th at noon, and General Admission and VIP packages are expected to sell out quickly.
