Urbanna

Urbanna is one of America’s oldest towns, established in 1680! Dock at one of the marinas for an easy walk to town & visit shops, restaurants, antiques, galleries & historic buildings. Enjoy events like the Urbanna Oyster Festival, Urbanna Cup, Arts in the Middle, & the Urbanna Farmers Market.

Lively

Lively is where interesting adventures begin. Experience nature at the Belle Isle State Park or stay overnight at the Bel Air Guest House. Don’t forget to visit the quaint community of Morattico or take the ferry across the Corrotoman River. Many unique things, only found in Virginia’s River Realm.

Saluda

Saluda, just off Rt. 17, has the home where the most decorated Marine in American history, Lt. General Lewis B. “Chesty” Puller, spent his retirement. Browse the Middlesex County Museum’s history collection. Take a photo at the LOVE sign at Chesty Puller Park. Great shops, eats & a lovely B & B.

Kilmarnock

Incorporated in 1930, Kilmarnock received its name as a result of merchant connections to Kilmarnock, Scotland. A slice of Americana, Kilmarnock offers events like a summer carnival, the annual Christmas parade, parks and nature trails and delicious dining options. There’s something for everyone!

Irvington

Home to the Tides Inn, Irvington has been attracting visitors for years. Explore by bicycle and enjoy coffee or a great meal in town and discover the farmer’s market with over 100 vendors. You can also visit the Dog & Oyster Vineyard with your dog and taste local wine and seafood.

White Stone

This town is a gateway to the Rappahannock River. Home to adorable shops, a gourmet market and the local theater troupe, White Stone makes an excellent stopping spot or a great place to recharge. Epicureans will delight at the abundance of fresh seafood options from the local restaurants.

Topping

Nestled on the Rappahannock River, Topping is home to Merrior, the waterfront tasting room of the famous Rappahannock Oyster Co. Book a flight at Hummel airfield & see magnificent Chesapeake Bay from above. Savor the German fare at Eckhard’s & experience the great outdoors at Grey’s Point Camp.

Deltaville

Deltaville, “The Boating Capital of the Chesapeake Bay” is known for sailing, fishing, & boating. Enjoy coastal shopping or catch some summer fun at the vintage, 1948 Deltaville Ballpark. Learn about local waterman at the Deltaville Maritime Museum. Don’t miss the Deltaville Seafood Festival!
