Middlesex Retrospective Art Show
Call to local artist and art lovers! Celebrate Middlesex County's historic buildings though artwork. Open house: Saturday, August 28th (10-4 pm) Sunday, August 29th (11-5 pm) Reception and awards presentation: Saturday, 4-7 pm (light refreshments) Poetry and Wine event: featuring local poets Carolyn Foronda and Earl Simpson Sunday, 5-6:30 pm Interested artists may drop off work during museum hours, or contact mfkunzinger@gmail.com for more information. Middlesex Antique Car Show
On Saturday October 9th the Middlesex County Museum in Saluda will host a Cruise-In style car show conducted by the Memory Lane Car Club from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The location is at the intersection of Rt. 17 and 33 next to the Museum (777 General Puller Highway) and Visitors Center. Zoom Presentation by “Lost Boy” John Dau
The Middlesex Country Museum and Historical Society sponsors presentation by “Lost Boy” John Dau On Sunday, July 24 at 4PM the Middlesex County, Virginia Museum and Historical Society will host a web presentation by John Dau titled “A Child of Duk Payuel.” It is the story of a Lost Boy from the Sudan who continues to be shaped by the positive aspects of the rural South Sudan community in which he was raised.

Open House for Middlesex Early Inhabitants Exhibit
A special Open House will be held at the Middlesex County Museum on Sunday, August 7th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm for the opening of Middlesex Early Inhabitants. Showcasing fossils and Native American artifacts found in the local waters and soils of Virginia, this family friendly exhibit is a perfect way for the kids and grandkids to learn about early county history.
