From the river to the roads, we’ve put together our big bad list of places to shop in the River Realm. You’ll discover something for everyone on your list! We hope you treat yourself, too.

Urbanna

Cydny’s Bynn: Upscale women’s fashion and gifts with a bit of a twist from the river. 

RS Bristow’s: Bristow’s is the area’s only surviving general store. It’s packed with clothing items for men and women as well as decor. 

Lowe Tide: Find designer resort fashions for men and women and some nautical art for the home.  

Marshall’s Drug Store: Prepare for nostalgia and to discover quirky gifts from coloring books to beauty supplies. Don’t forget to get a limeade or milkshake!

Urbanna Harbor Gallery & Art: Get lost in 5,000 square feet of antiques and art. There are new exhibits every couple months!

Fin & Pearl: This chic and fun store carries fine jewelry and other gifts, many of which are inspired by the river. 

If It’s Wood & More: Prepare to be amazed by the gorgeous and intricate wooden creations including utensils, benches, carved animals, bookshelves, and wine racks. 

Simply Ya Ya’s: Get a one-of-a-kind gift from this cute consignment shop that carries anything from cowboy boots to fur vests. 

ReSail: This darling women’s thrift shop is where you can find cute scarves, jackets, tops and more for the ladies on your list. 

The Fashion Exchange: This chic consignment shop carries all the outfit essentials you need. 


Irvington

The Dandelion: Inside in this house, the walls and floors and cabinets are dripping with fine women’s clothing, jewelry and gifts. 

Objects Art and More: Come here to shop for art collectors and creative jewelry fans. More than 200 artists showcase their items here. 

Sewlovelee: Make gift for the ones you love! Come to this helpful hut for fabric to fuel your next quilting, crafting, or garment project.

Village Needle Point: This is a full-service needlepoint boutique carrying hand-painted canvases, threads, accessories, and tools. They also have pillows and creations to pick up. 

Steamboat Era Museum: Our favorite little museum has one of the best holiday gift markets November 29 and 30. 


Kilmarnock

Rivah Antiques & Accessories: You might get lost in here! It’s packed with new and old decor, art, jewelry, and collectibles.

Kilmarnock Antique Gallery: Vintage oyster plates are among the many things you’ll discover here for an enchanting gift your friends and family will remember.

Burkes Fine Jewelers: Fine jewelry and the river meet at this local gem. From diamond rings to sterling silver shell necklaces, you find something precious and ready-to-wear. 

Weekends: Stuff stockings with Sperry Topsiders, Tommy Bahama shirts, Southern Tide skirts, and Bird Dog ties from this local fashion hub.

Northern Neck Popcorn Bag: This gift is already wrapped! There are 50 gourmet flavors of fresh popcorn to pick from.

RAL Art Center: This non-profit community art center features a variety of local art to discover for your gift list.

White Stone

Allure Art Center: There’s always something new here and there’s always a party around the corner. Discover a painting, sculpture or other work of art. 

Old Farm Truck: Bring home a taste of the River Realm in the form of  fresh fruits and vegetables from one of a dozen Northern Neck farms.

Country Cottage: This colorful little cottage is sweet on the inside! Tie up homemade fudge of all flavors for stocking stuffers. Pick up fresh flowers, too. 

Miss Mary Seafood: Why not bring a bit of fresh seafood to your holiday gathering? Put a bow on top and prepare for a feast!

Pointe Provisions: This new shop carries unique gifts of all kinds. Find something for your coworker, your aunt, or your cutie. 

Dug In Farms: Package up some locally grown produce, meats, pickles, and crafts from this little stand!  


Deltaville

Rivah Shack Treasures: This new 10,000 square-foot treasure chest is lined with furniture, home decor, jewelry, toys, art, and antiques from 45 vendors.  

J & W Seafood: Create a party in a basket with goodies like gourmet dips, wine, craft beers, cooking utensils and more. 

West Marine: Get the boating pal in your life something they’ll put to use. Stop here for marine parts, supplies, accessories and apparel. You can even bring home a small boat or trailer.
