SUMMARY:Teddy's Piece
DESCRIPTION:The Lancaster Players present Teddy’s Piece\, a one-woman play written and developed by Rema Keen and Kate Larken. Scheduled for one weekend only\, April 17–19\, the play is based on the true story of Keen’s grandmother\, Lillian Estelle “Teddy” McCoy Wright Triplett. \nThrough storytelling and music\, Teddy’s Piece creates a vivid oral tapestry that takes audiences from the coal mines of Appalachia to New York City and a tuberculosis sanatorium in Florida. Keen portrays Teddy from age nine to 73 without leaving the stage\, weaving together memories of childhood\, marriage\, motherhood\, loss\, and perseverance. \nThe Lancaster Players Box Office is now open for reservations at lancasterplayers.org. \nPerformances:\n• Friday–Saturday\, April 17–18 at 8:00 p.m.\n• Sunday\, April 19 at 3:00 p.m. \nThe Playhouse opens one hour prior to curtain for social hour. \nTickets are $30. The Lancaster Players Playhouse is located at 361 Chesapeake Drive in White Stone.

DESCRIPTION:Lancaster Players is excited to introduce a new addition to its summer Youth Theatre Programs: “Threads of Us: Weaving Our Stories.”\n\n\nThis five-day storytelling workshop (July 20–24) invites young people ages 12–18 to explore the timeless art of storytelling.
