All the locals love the place where everyone knows your name.  Family friendly with a side of eclectic fun.  Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with regularly scheduled live entertainment and even open mic night.

The BBQ is smoked on site and prepared Eastern NC style with a vinegar and tomato base served on homemade buns and special Shindig sauce.  Texas-style beef brisket, tri-tip beef, baby back ribs with in-house dry rub, kickin’ chicken are other amazing fixes for the Neanderthal in you!  Don’t forget the local seafood dishes:  she-crab soup, local crab cakes, soft-shell crabs and wild caught oysters.

Burlap coffee bags on the walls showcases their freshly roasted coffees and peanuts. Ever tried a Hoecake?  Choose original or spicy with a little kick and then top them off with a touch of molasses syrup.

The bar is stocked with 11  craft brews on tap, specialty cocktails you have to try like Rum Confused and Urbanna Iced Tea, and even champagne on draft!

Something Different’s retail store allows you to take some home!  Choose from their farm raised meats, specialty rubs, seasonings and sauces, freshly baked pies and breads, homemade ice cream, bottled brews and wines and fun apparel.  Ice cream made from South Mountain Creamery with flavors like butter pecan with caramelized organic sugar butter, real white peach chunks in a summer favorite and cappuccinomocha.
