Taste of Middlesex Festival/Car Show

A Taste of Middlesex Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park, 287 Jackson Creek Road, Deltaville. It is free and open to the public; parking will be $5 per vehicle.

There will be all-day live music, along with food of all types, craft beer, and a wine tasting. In addition there will be free deadrise creek cruises and tours of the F.D. Crockett and the boat shop. Model trains from the Rappahannock Railroaders will be on hand, along with children’s games and activities.

Local restaurants and caterers have been invited to “put their best dish forward,” said a press release.

CAR SHOW

A car show and cruise-in will be held on the museum grounds throughout the day. All classic cars and trucks, sports cars, antique tractors, and special interest vehicles are invited.
