Lancaster By The Bay Chamber Announces the 43rd Annual Kilmarnock Lighted Christmas Parade “A Community Strong Christmas”

The Kilmarnock Lighted Christmas Parade is presented by the Lancaster by the Bay Chamber, in partnership with the Town of Kilmarnock. The chamber is pleased to announce this year’s parade theme, “A Community Strong Christmas.” Christmas parade co-chairs, Justin Burke and Stacey Akers are excited to celebrate small-town strength, perseverance, and unity through this year’s theme. The parade will honor community heroes and be led by local firefighters. The chamber and parade committee thank all local first responders for their sacrifice and commitment to strengthening our community!

The parade will begin at 7 PM Friday, December 9 along Main Street Kilmarnock and will last approximately an hour. Pre-parade activities start with music and refreshments around 5:30PM throughout the Steptoe’s District. Santa will be available for a pre-parade visit and photo from 5:30-6:30pm at the Kilmarnock Firehouse on School Street. Main Street closes at 6:45PM and no on street parking after 5 PM parade night.
