In a stunning, unique piece of theatre, John Hardy plays over forty roles in Charles Dickens’ holiday classic. He never leaves the stage and never changes costume but manages to realistically portray each character.

Nationally known and acclaimed actor, writer and director, John Hardy, brings his widely popular one-man adaptation of “A Christmas Carol” to the stage of Middlesex High School for two performances on December 8. The Middlesex County Museum & Historical Society received a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and along with financial support from the Kiwanis and Art in the Middle will collaboratively sponsor this production. A not to be missed piece of holiday theatre that will be enjoyed by all (not appropriate for children under 12.) The December 8 performances are scheduled for 1 pm and 3 pm. The tickets ($15 for adults; $10 for students) will be sold at the door, beginning 30 minutes before each performance that lasts 75 minutes.

The actor adapted the famous holiday story of ghosts and redemption into the one-man play starring himself which he has since performed in venues nationwide about 70 times.
