Farmers Market Dates 2022: May 7 ~ Jun 4 ~ Jul 2 ~ Aug 6 ~ Sep 3 ~ Oct 1 ~ Nov 5. The Irvington Farmers Market is held on the 1st Saturday of each month, May to November from 9am – 1pm.
The Irvington Farmers Market is sponsored by the VIA (Village Improvement Assoc.) volunteers and has been consistently voted Best Farmers Market on Virginia’s East Coast by Virginia Living Magazine in 2012-2021.
We have the best produce, flowers, homemade bread and bakery products; artisan cheeses, meats and seafood. You’ll see handmade crafts; soaps; handmade clothing; furniture; jewelry; glassware; baskets; crafts of all kinds, and fabulous artwork.
A variety of musicians join us throughout the season. We have tips from the Northern Neck Master Gardeners; the Audubon Society; local farms, and more. Oyster Gardens and select water products are sold, too. Even free books from the Lancaster Library!
In additional to our award-winning Farmers Market, the VIA also sponsors multiple events throughout the year. Information regarding those events will be posted on this Facebook page. Some of the events to watch for include our annual Boot Sale, Fourth of July Parade, and Turkey Trot. We’ll let you know about upcoming Concerts on The Commons and other fun events. Stay tuned!
