Groovin’ In The Park Concert Series

Join the Deltaville Maritime Museum for their Live-Music Summer Concert Series.

May 22nd, June 26th, July 24th, Aug 28th, Sept 4th & Sept 25th from 5:30p-8p!

  • 5-6 p.m. May 22 — Fabulous Ray Pittman, beach, blues and soul.
  • 6-8 p.m. May 22 — No. 1 Blues Billboard artist Bobby Messano.
  • 5-6 p.m. June 26 — Paige Melton (the lady can sing).
  • 6-8 p.m. June 26 —  Abbey Road, the ultimate Beatles party band.
  • 5-6 p.m. July 24 — Stonesthrow, wonderful arrangements of your favorites.
  • 6-8 p.m. July 24 — Good Shot Judy (special performance).
  • 5-6 p.m. Aug. 28 — Sincerely Iris, road trip music with Todd Murray.
  • 6-8 p.m. Aug. 28 — Stuck on a Name, reggae, none better, no worries.
  • 5-6 p.m. Sept. 4, Labor Day — Toby Gillie and the Unpredictables (bonus Groovin’).
  • 6-8 p.m. Sept. 4 — Josh Walker Quartet with Sharon Rae North, standards.
  • 6-8 p.m. Sept. 25 — Tom Euler Band, blues/rock at its best.
“Groovin’ in the Park” is the Maritime Museum’s casual, outdoor concert series normally running every 4th Saturday, May-Sept.
The concert is held on the Waterfront Stage overlooking Mill Creek. During the Covid-19 restrictions this is a rain or shine event. The Pavilion is currently restricted until regulations loosen. This is a “bring your own lawn chair, cooler and picnic” event. We will do our best to have limited food but menu and volume will depend on available volunteers. Visit our food concession next to the Tea House four our offerings. Children under 12 are free. Tickets may be purchased on this website, or Nauti-nell’s in Deltaville.
What the Maritime Park is doing to follow Covid restrictions:
Admission requirements: a ticket and a mask
Ticket for food and drink
All table and bench surfaces wiped prior to show
Asking that you bring your own lawn chair to limit contact
Radial 6’ spacing grid lines spray painted in green starting 30’ from the stage out to the Tea House
6 foot spacing dots on walkways
Hand sanitizer at entrance, all picnic tables, Tea House and Waterfront Gazebo
Hand washing stations at entrance and Waterfront Gazebo
All Va State required guideline signage at entry points
Spray and wipe disinfectant on all Waterfront Park benches and tables
Serve Hot Dogs and Bottled water only. Food service with masks and gloves.
Follow all alcohol service guidelines for bar
Other necessary preventative measures as needed and suggested
