Full Moon Paddle on Morattico Creek

Enjoy an evening paddle along Morattico Creek on August 11th with Friends of the Rappahannock River Steward Brent Hunsinger. This paddle will be from 7 PM – 9:30 PM and will include fun glow sticks and nightlife animals and birds you might not usually see. Only a few tickets remain-you must reserve your space with Friends of the Rappahannock. This will sell out!
Bring a water bottle, snack, and closed toed shoes you don’t mind getting wet. All participants will be expected to wear a personal flotation device (PFD) which will be provided. Participants will meet at the Morattico Waterfront Museum to park and for launch.
This is a basic beginners paddle. We encourage paddlers (ages 12 and up) of all experience levels to join us!
If you would like to use your own gear for this paddle, you are welcome to. Please select that ticket below understanding that you will be required to wear a Coast Guard certified life jacket and sign the waiver for the event. If you do not have an appropriate personal floatation device, please contact Brent Hunsinger to have FOR provide one for you.
All participants must have a signed waiver emailed to Brent Hunsinger (brent.hunsinger@riverfriends.org) or in paper form on the day of the event.
