In this two-day workshop, the instructor will cover what a mixed medium painting is and will also be demonstrating several mixed medium processes. By using methods of collage along with stencils, gel prints, acrylic paints, Posca Pens or Watercolors, students will be learning how to create a mixed medium painting of a subject of their own choosing. Gloria will bring in several of her own mixed medium pieces and will demonstrate how to use more than one medium within a work of art. Students should bring in any mediums they are currently familiar with and the substrate they wish to work on (canvas boards or heavy paper).
