The Tappahannock Artists Guild is proud to present At the Table, an extraordinary exhibition opening July 24 featuring the powerful work of artists Zsudayka Nzinga and James Stephen Terrell.
Together, these two nationally recognized artists invite us to gather at the table—where history, memory, spirituality, family, labor, and human connection intersect.
Zsudayka Nzinga’s research-based work explores American history and the enduring impact of textile labor. Her paintings and installations have been exhibited in museums and institutions across the country and internationally, challenging viewers to consider the stories woven into our shared past.
James Stephen Terrell’s deeply contemplative paintings examine the physical and spiritual dimensions of human existence. Through intricate lines, layered surfaces, and powerful visual language, his work explores joy, pain, faith, memory, and the threads that bind humanity together.
