Each summer The Lancaster Players offer a Youth Theatre Workshop with opportunities for creative expression, friendship, exploring the arts and having a whole lot of fun. This one-week camp, directed by Robin Blake and Linda Stough, offers 8- to 18-year-olds the opportunity to explore theatre basics and guides participants through the overall theatre experience. The Youth Theatre Workshop will hold auditions Sunday, August 3 at 2:00 p.m. to ascertain individual skill levels allowing instructors to tailor the weeks’ experience to the skills of the participants.
The camp will run from 9 to 3PM Monday, August 4th through Friday August 8th, with a free performance for family, friends and the community on Saturday, August 9th at 3:00PM at The Playhouse, 361 Chesapeake Drive, White Stone.
The workshop experience culminates with a show on Saturday, August 9th. Participants will utilize their new capabilities on The Lancaster Players stage as they present The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon by Don Zolidis, a wild, fast paced extravaganza.
Registration fee: $125 per participant, ages 8-to-18
