June 23 – 27 STONES, STORIES AND STENCILS for Future Masters. Instructor: RICK SEGUSO
Monday – Friday 1 – 4PM, Ages 8-10
This camp is all about sparking imagination and self-expression through hands-on art! Each day, kids will use stencils and freehand techniques to paint on a variety of objects, including flat stones that transform into playful animals, paperweights, and unique doorstops. Time will be spent teaching perspective and vanishing point. Kids will do a drawing and then paint the drawing using this talent. They’ll explore the world of model painting with everyday objects and create their own story on poster boards using stencils, freehand art, and possibly even some mixed media. Kids are also welcome to bring a favorite toy or object from home to paint and personalize.
