July 28 – August 1 NATURE’S PALETTE – Mixed media fun using natural elements AVERELLE DYLAN & TERESA RHODES
Monday – Friday 1 – 4PM, Ages: 8-12
In Nature’s Palette, kids will immerse themselves in the world of multi-media art, using materials sourced from the natural environment. Over the course of the week, campers will choose from a number of different materials as they explore the beauty of shells, rocks, leaves, sticks, feathers, and wood. They’ll experiment with acrylic paints, modge podge and glue. They will discover how to build texture and depth in their creations by applying natural materials. Throughout the week, children will enhance their creativity, develop their artistic techniques, and connect with the natural world in a hands-on and meaningful way. This camp is perfect for young artists looking to create unique, nature-inspired pieces that combine traditional painting with the wonders of the outdoors.
