Join artist Juli Schuszler in this three-day workshop where you will create three acrylic 11” x 14” landscape paintings in the Impressionist style. Learn how to apply paint in this ever-popular technique, creating the effect of sunlight with short quick brush strokes, a broken palette for optical color mixing, and complementary colors in shadows. The first painting will be completed in unison of the teacher’s demonstration and step-by-step instruction. The next two paintings will be completed with reference photos that you have selected. Bring snacks. Some experience is helpful but not entirely necessary. This class meets on three consecutive Wednesdays in February.
