In this two-day workshop, the instructor will demonstrate the wonderful process of gel printing, specifically creating papers for use within a collage. If students have not yet experienced gel printing, you may borrow a small gel plate and brayer to use for this process. If you have a gel plate of your own, please bring it. After gel printing, the class continues with how to create a collage from your own uniquely printed papers, as well as how to apply additional papers the instructor will share. Please bring in several reference photos of simple subjects you may wish to interpret as a collage as well as the additional supplies below. Also please bring a bag lunch or a midday snack!
