Lancaster Community Library invites the community to A Special Evening with Dr. Leonard Levin on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 6:30 PM. Dr. Levin will present “A Welcome to the James Monroe Birthplace & Boyhood Home,” exploring the rich heritage of Virginia’s Northern Neck, the Monroe family’s historic journey to Colonial Beach, and the cultural roots that shaped the region.
Guests will also learn how the Monroe Birthplace was reclaimed and hear about upcoming park events, outdoor recreation, and seasonal arts programming.
